The English teacher entered the class with excitement and told the students that the topic for that day is question tags. After teaching and giving examples like, 'the teacher is intelligent, isn't he' as the tag.
He calls on the students to equally do same and trust his students as Ohaze gets up from his seat and says, 'the foolish teacher has come,isnt he?' Followed by Sariki who gets up and says, No, the most stupid teacher is teaching, isnt he? And then Choki, stands and says, The foolish, stupid teacher is teaching, isnt he?
The teacher cuts in at this point and tells the class that he will give the statement and they in turn will give the tags.
Teacher: 'l ate yam,' now, Shaloi give me the tag. He gets up from his seat and retorts,hmmm, teacher, how can l give you the tag when you are the one that ate the yam, now you dey ask for him tag, you tell me.
Immediately, Mediva get up from his seat and says l know the tag. Teacher: 'yes,pls give us the tag. ''You ate the yam and enjoy youself.' Is the tag.Hmmm, that one is very simple Erico stands up to say, 'yes, so whats the tag?' Says the teacher. l ate the yam, ahhh, the tag is 'yamm't l? Came his response.
The teacher ended the class immediately and as he walked out the student roared Yamm't l.
