I Am A Strong Woman - Poem by Kasia Fedyk

I am a strong woman
you can see the fire
burning in my eyes
it's not the strength
of a powered muscle
but the hand that is feeding my soul
I am a strong woman
that sees beyond the veil
walking on clouds
as a virtue
they become my cushion
my syllables of words unspoken
carriage of believes
carousel of rainbows
painted upon my heart
become the seal of my energy
I am a strong woman
I stand between the two poles
darkness and light
my arms extended to keep them straight
might comes from most powerful source
I don't rely on the potency of the flesh
that weakens me with every pore
the power within my only authority
so vivid and immense
remains
I am a strong woman
Kasia Fedyk
She has a determination that exceeds all expectation
She has a will of steel
She has faced many challenges and has overcome them all
With grace, kindness and a power so immense that it shakes the world to its core
She is strong because she wants to be
She is strong because she needs to be
She is strong because that is all she knows,
Deep within her soul
Her strength has been passed down to her from her mothers, her sisters and her elders
Her strength has been passed down through her DNA,
Her innate knowing from the ancient wisdom that is within her heart, her core and will be passed down to her daughters
She is strong because she has gifts to share
She is strong because she knows that there is a better way
She is strong because she sees that the goodness she knows is abundant and available for all,
No matter where or who they are
Her strength is in her kindness and compassion
Her strength is in her willingness to care
Her strength is her ability to embrace the world and throw a blanket of magnificence around the globe,
For the children, the animals, the planet
She is strong because she wants a better life
She is strong because she wants the beauty to be shared
She is strong because the beauty she has is exploding within her, around her, for her and for the world to see
Her strength is not visible to all - yet!
Her strength is not heard by everyone - at the moment!
But her strength is growing stronger and she is adorning her message with the beauty she shares with her sisters
They are gathering strength for the world
They are gathering strength to be seen
They are gathering strength to be heard
The Sisters are gathering
The Sisters are rising
If you look you will see the beauty
If you listen you will hear the whispers of their choir
If you want you can dance with the music

A strong woman is a woman who is straining
A strong woman is a woman standing
on tiptoe and lifting a barbell
while trying to sing “Boris Godunov.”
A strong woman is a woman at work
cleaning out the cesspool of the ages,
and while she shovels, she talks about
how she doesn’t mind crying, it opens
the ducts of the eyes, and throwing up
develops the stomach muscles, and
she goes on shoveling with tears in her nose.
A strong woman is a woman in whose head
a voice is repeating, I told you so,
ugly, bad girl, bitch, nag, shrill, witch,
ballbuster, nobody will ever love you back,
why aren’t you feminine, why aren’t
you soft, why aren’t you quiet, why aren’t you dead?
A strong woman is a woman determined
to do something others are determined
not be done. She is pushing up on the bottom
of a lead coffin lid. She is trying to raise
a manhole cover with her head, she is trying
to butt her way through a steel wall.
Her head hurts. People waiting for the hole
to be made say, hurry, you’re so strong.
A strong woman is a woman bleeding
inside. A strong woman is a woman making
herself strong every morning while her teeth
loosen and her back throbs. Every baby,
a tooth, midwives used to say, and now
every battle a scar. A strong woman
is a mass of scar tissue that aches
when it rains and wounds that bleed
when you bump them and memories that get up
in the night and pace in boots to and fro.
A strong woman is a woman who craves love
like oxygen or she turns blue choking.
A strong woman is a woman who loves
strongly and weeps strongly and is strongly
terrified and has strong needs. A strong woman is strong
in words, in action, in connection, in feeling;
she is not strong as a stone but as a wolf
suckling her young. Strength is not in her, but she
enacts it as the wind fills a sail.
What comforts her is others loving
her equally for the strength and for the weakness
from which it issues, lightning from a cloud.
Lightning stuns. In rain, the clouds disperse.
Only water of connection remains,
flowing through us. Strong is what we make
each other. Until we are all strong together,
a strong woman is a woman strongly afraid.

One Earth One Woman
A fine mole down
the blue mountain sky
cannot be weighed out!
It's the cosmos's gold dust
the earthy depth triumphs.
Oh earth, our close clay-star
is far ahead of the day at noon.
Ahead of the moon
ahead of the Neptune!
With a million dash of curiosity
every new sunrise paints
upon her black box with the roaring fire.
Yet the ****** is a veiled wonder!
It has the heaps a room for everyone
and time for the timeless times.
Guess, with her longhand
what an inside scoop did it pick out?
You too can be in the know
It's the feminine beauty all in all.
Forget if you have already
seen million and one.
The earth is eyeing on only one.
Her closest admirer is the star
of the very luminary bunch
with open eyes in the hearts.
Her dead man is waking up
sniffing the daylight by her.
Yet to make the discovery
both are still wondering outside!
O Fathima Only To Kiss Your Feet (Song of paradise upon her arrival)
When you stepped in my door,
I realised I was Paradise
in my heart and soul.
You were so surefooted
because you came up from the high.
So long I longed for it.
O Fathima, only to kiss your feet!
The time was so sweet,
beyond anyone’s dream
only in pure beauty
I was rendering,
screaming to new highs.
I did it my way!
Lovely bouncing on
my polished pitch,
the rivers forget to flow
back to the seas.
But no one knew
where my toe melts!
Until you did
and took me for a tread
closer to your spring,
my sweet dream:
O Fathima, only to kiss your feet!
Your so pleased man wished
to rain down with love,
but humble you hid your feet!
You blinded the moon, snowed it
away under seven seas.
No wonder it's
your winning footing.
Like the Prophet said:
I found me the heaven
beneath the mother’s feet.
O Fathima, only on your feet!
I want to be a complete woman
<>
No, He said.
I want you
wanting.
I want to taste the miracle of your desperation,
lick the sweet sweat of tense from the hairline well hid
on the back of your pleasuring neck.
I need your needing constant completion,
but not succeeding.
The airborne aroma of your desires are fiery, arousing,
stimulus sensating me by the unending beauty of dissatisfaction,
this virus desirous, infection, makes my perpetual wanting
for an incomplete perfect woman,
forever seeking betterment,
perfectly complete.
